Jimmie Mahaffey, 75, of Conway, Ark., a former West Union resident, died Monday, April 5, 2010, at a Conway hospital. Graveside service will be 1:15 p.m. Friday at West Union Village Cemetery. Friends may call noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.

He was born Feb. 23, 1935, the son of the late Samuel and Laura (Young) Mahaffey in Adams County, Ohio.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Mahaffey of Conway, a daughter, Tammy Brewer of Farmersville, and one grandchild, Taylor Atkinson of Farmersville.
