Everett was the son of Franklin Pierce and Ethel May Hoffheim Learmont. His grandparents were William and Catherine Cooper Learmont and George and Anne Newton Hoffheim. Everett married Daisy J Moon about 1925. They had two sons: Everett Franklin Jr (Bud), who died in 1989, and Marshall Ray, who died in 1991. Daisy died in 1973. Everett secondly married Bernadine Pearl Duggins after July 1973. They had no children. Bernadine died in 1997.

Everett Franklin Learmont, 97, died Saturday at his home in Yucaipa. Born in Humboldt, Iowa, Mr. Learmont lived in San Bernardino County 60 years, most recently in Yucaipa. Previously he lived in Highgrove. He was a superintendent with the San Bernardino County Highway Department before he retired in 1964.
He graduated from Poly High School in Riverside in 1924. He was a Mason. He belonged to Rialto Baptist Church and Bryant Street Baptist Church in Yucaipa.
Mr. Learmont is survived by three step-daughters, Jackie Drinkhouse and Nedra Biles, both of Yucaipa, and Frances Boles of San Diego; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton. Memorial services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Bryant Street Baptist Church in Yucaipa. Montecito Mortuary in Loma Linda is handling arrangements.
