Lyndon was a life-long resident of Austin and long-time employee of the City of Austin, working at the Austin Police Department as a P.C.O. Specialist Senior, North sub- station.
He was preceded in death by both parents and one grandson, John Isaiah Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife, Kayla Hester; daughter, Missy Hester-Rodriguez and husband, Johnny; grandson, Zach Rodriguez; brother, Carl E. Welge Jr. and wife, Mary; sister, Shirley Davenport and husband, Skip; nephew, Bert Welge and wife, Lisa; niece, Beth Welge; and great- nieces, Emily and Elizabeth.
