Wife of Barry B Horst, daughter of Robert C Harbach and Anna Mae Heggenstaller, loving mother of Darin and Adriane, sister of Cindy, Beverly, Vernon and Katrina. Carolyn fought a long and valiant battle with brain cancer. She and Barry were once missionaries at the hospital in Macha, Zambia where their daughter, Adriane was born. Carolyn was a Registered Nurse who worked at the Chambersburg Hospital, MennoHaven and the Brethren Home in New Oxford, Pa. Member of the Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren and later of the Brethren in Christ Church.
