Centre Daily Times, 4 Feb 1998, State College, Centre, Pennsylvania, United States. Roy B. "Dutch" Morgret Sr., 57, of rural Beech Creek died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Lock Haven Hospital.
He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Lock Haven, a son of the late Charles and Mary Englert Morgret. On 26 June 1958 , he married Patsy Belle Young, who survives at home.
He attended Lock Haven High School.
He worked at Lock Haven Hospital for 401/2 years and was plant superintendent at the time of his death.
He was a member of Laurel Run United Methodist Church.
He was a social member of American Legion in Beech Creek. He enjoyed hunting, camping and boating.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Roy "Burt" Jr. of rural Beech Creek; two sisters, Shirley Farrington of Lamar and Mae Driver of Linden; a brother, Robert of Farrandsville; three grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Helt Hanna Kline Funeral Home Inc., Main Street, Beech Creek.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bruce Wallace officiating.
Burial will be in Romola Cemetery, Marsh Creek.
