Jason was the son of Merrill and Orrin Babcock Cooper who are also buried in this cemetery. He was married three times. He first married Susan Rasey on 7 October 1847. They had four children: James B, Emma A, Carrie Annie and Ella Amelia. Susan died in January 1874. Susan, Jason and Emma are buried in this cemetery. Jason secondly married Edna Eyena Drew in Quebec on 14 November 1878. They had one child, William Merrill. Edna is buried here. She died in June 1889. Jason's third wife was Cynthia Eliza (Lanktree) Carr and they married in Malone, Franklin Co, NY on 7 January 1896. James B's children (grandchildren of Jason) who are buried here are James R and Mary Mabel who both died as infants, and William Roy and his wife, Evelyn Maude Rankin.
