Survivors include sons Charles Bloomquist and his wife Terry of Venice, Calif., Curtis Bloomquist and his wife Garnet of Agency, and Guy Edwards and his wife Kathy of Pahrump, Nev., daughters Delores H. Hicks of Lincoln City, Ore., Virginia Carlson of Omaha, Neb., Linda Schulz of Newberg, Ore., 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Minnie (Anderson)Chalstrom and husband Orville (Mick) Edwards.
Helen V. Chalstrom was born May 6, 1915 at Gowrie where she attended school. She was united in marriage with Einar Bloomquist and later divorced. Helen was united in marriage with Orville (Mick) Edwards on April 25, 1943. They established their home in Gowrie. Helen was employed at the Gowrie Care Center and Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge.
Helen was a member of the United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
Memorials may be left with the United Methodist Church, Gowrie.
