Member of a pioneer Carson Valley family, died last night at 9.30 o'clock at his home in Carson Valley, Duncansville, R. D. No. 1, death being attributed to a complication of ailments. He was a son of Ephriam and Lydia Hart Brubaker and was born in Carson Valley on June 2, 1860. He was united in marriage with Margaret Catherine Plowman in Hollidaysburg and they recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.

Surviving are the wife and these children Charles, Frank, George, Mrs. Ida McKee, Ord and Miss Ella Brubaker, all of Carson valley, Mrs. Gertrude McIntyre of East Freedom, Harry of Monongahela, Blair of Brookes Mills, Mrs. Rose Haller of Hollidaysburg, Brooke Brubaker of Lakemont and Mrs. Effie Sell of Hollidaysburg, and thirty-seven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Mr. Brubaker was educated in the community schools and followed farming all his life until retiring twelve years ago. He was a member of the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren and was active in the work of the church throughout his life.

Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.

BRUBAKER - Funeral services for Jacob Brubaker, of Duncansville will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren in charge of Rev. D. I. Pepple. Interment Carson Valley.
