Janey Marie Beegle, 74, of Maple Hollow, Duncansville, went to be with the Lord Saturday at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
She was born in Duncansville, daughter of the late Harold and Ruth O. (McKee) Beegle.
Surviving are two daughters: Ann Marie Lew and husband, Ron, of Columbia, Md., and Amy Lynn Harshbarger of Duncansville; a son, Jack Beegle Harshbarger of Duncansville; three grandchildren: Benjamin Lew and Emily and Eric Harshbarger; and two sisters: Joyce Clark and Marilyn Wisor.
Janey was a 1953 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a lifelong member of Carson Valley Church of the Brethren and formerly served an active role in the primary Sunday school classes.
Janey was a homemaker and loving mother.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at Carson Valley Church of the Brethren by Pastor Bradley R. Runkle.
Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren or United Cerebral Palsy.
