Bruce Clifton Shores was the son of James Shores and Evelyn McNiel. He has 3 sisters, Deborah Luann, Tami Sue and Traci Leigh. He was the first born and was our Big Brother. He was also a prankster. He loved to play jokes and loved to laugh. When he would get excited he would rub his hands together really fast. He took great pleasure in lovingly picking on his sisters =0)

Bruce was married twice but didn't have any children of his own. However he did have 7 nephews. He loved babies and would always sit for the longest time just holding them and rocking them. My youngest son is named Jacob Bruce, for the Uncle he never met but will be told about.

Bruce was also a fan of the Raiders. He loved the Raiders. I remember when my boys were little he bought Raiders jerseys and bobbleheads and other stuff for them. In fact, a few days before he died he watched the Raiders play in the ICU at the hospital with all of us by his side. He continued to crack jokes and laugh until the end.

His death was very painful for us since we had just lost our Father in July 2000 and our Mother in September 2001. Bruce was diagnosed with cancer in August 2002 and went into remission briefly before finding out the cancer had spread. Bruce loved his family and his favorite holiday was Christmas. He was like a little kid. His last Christmas was spent with his family and after the holidays he went into the hospital for the last time. I know he is with our Mom and Dad and someday we will all be reunited. But until that day comes, he is missed and thought about each and every day. We love you Bruce and we miss you every day.
