DROWNED
Mr. Henry Bobo, a life long citizen of this county, was accidentally drowned in Raccoon Creek, near Zaleski, on Wednesday afternoon of last week. It is supposed that in walking along the bank of the creek towards a foot-log he struck his foot against a stone and fell into the stream, his hat and cane being found close by a stone which appeared to have been recently moved. The creek was high and the current quite swift, and some time elapsed before some parties passing by the spot found and recognized the hat and cane. Some persons about the Zaleski ships had observed the deceased walking near the place and noted the fact that he disappeared. His body was found lodged on a snag a few yards below the point where (he) fell into the creek.
