Arthur Antle, the well known feed man, has sold his feed store to Wm Vahn of Bristow and has bought an interest in the butcher and stock business of J H Boyd & Co, and this firm will be known in the future as Boyd & Antle. They will deal in fish and salted meats, and buy stock of all kinds. Arthur came to Tulsey in 1898 from Missouri. He was one of the early pioneers transforming Tulsey into the Oil Capitol of the World. He was friends with Fred Severs Clinton and his wife Jane. He first was a cattleman, then opened a livery stable. It was reported that he worked under the direction of Charles Page to sell bottled water in Tulsa and Sand Springs for the Children's Home.
