She was born in Sandusky Oct. 8, 1929 and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1947. She moved to Huron in 1969 and has been a resident since. She worked as a billing clerk at Union Chain, Sandusky, for Litton Systems, for 32 years retiring in 1980.
She is a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Huron; Huron Eagles Auxiliary; Sandusky American Legion Auxiliary; and the Sandusky Amvets Auxiliary.
She is survived by step-sons, Joseph (Kathy) Doyon, of Berlin Hts., and Bernie (Peggy) Doyon of Sandusky; step-daughter, Mariann Robinson, of Norwalk; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; a step-sister, Vicky Sites, of Pawley.s Island, SC; nieces, Deb (Orville) Patton, and Melva Barnbrugge, both of Sandusky, and nephew, Alan Barnbrugge of Marblehead.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Doyon, Sr. 1987; parents, Harry and Helen (Ide) Barnbrugge; and a brother, Pierre .Barney. Barnbrugge.
Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main Street, Huron. Funeral mass will be Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main Street, Huron.
Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Huron.
