Randy Kim Dearden, 49, of Caldwell passed away Saturday, July 29, 2006 at home of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006 at The Church of Latter Day Saints, 4509 S. Montana Ave., Caldwell with Bishop Gary Neal presiding. The family will receive friends in the Relief Society room from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Concluding services with military rites will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Randy was born Sept. 27, 1956 at Idaho Falls to Richard and Joy Dearden. He attended schools at Idaho Falls, Caldwell, St. Mary´s at Fort Lewis, Wash. and Boise State University. Randy served in the United States Army at Fort Lewis for three years and in the National Guard. Randy held many responsible positions in Caldwell and Garden City and owned his own water management company. Randy was preceded in death by all grandparents; his father, Dick; three nephews; and two special cousins, Gregg Hansen and Jeremy Hayes. He is survived by his son, Stewart Russell; his daughter, Kimberly Marie, both of Caldwell; his mother, Joy; his brothers and sister-in-law, Kurt and Ida and Russell; and his sister, Marie, all locally. He is also survived by two former wives, Carol Ann Walsh and Katherine Harriger; four nieces and nephews; and one grand-niece. Many thanks to Horizon Hospice, family and friends, and Kathie, Pauli and George Harriger whose service, devotion and love were invaluable.
