Actor. Fondly remembered for his role on "Coronation Street," playing "Delivery man(1970)/Cellar man/Barman Fred Gee from 1975-84. His fims's included All Creatures Great and Small, Soldier and Me, The Red Beret, Little Voice. On TV, he appeared in Emmerdale Farm, Family at War, Nearest and Dearest, as well as many guest spots on many British shows. After discovering he had Cancer in 1990, he was operated on to remove a tumor from his throat. He continued to act till his health completely failed.
