Doris Crosby Bissette, 93, of Wilson passed away Sunday. A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Russ Nanney will officiate.
The family will receive friends 2 p.m. Saturday evening following the graveside service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Doris was a retired school teacher for Wilson County.
Doris is survived by her children, Lib Winborne and husband, Ed, John D. Bissette, Jr. and wife, Debbie, and Jeannie Smith; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Bissette.
