Donald was born to the late Bennett and Grace Higgs. He was known as the waving Barber; he owned/operated Nat Barber Shop. He was Past Master (1996) of Reed Lodge #316, Hadi Shrine and The Drum and Bugle Corps. Don was also a member of Robert Morris 87 Order of Eastern Star, Elinor Mark Memorial Court 14 Order of the Amaranth, American Legion Kapperman Post 44 and Chas Denby VFW Post 53. He was married to the former Carol J. Mann for 51 years.
