I always thought of Nick as my uncle even though he was related by marriage to my dad's first cousin. Dad had been so close to his cousins, sons and daughters of Lilburn and Jewel (Harvey) Sullivan, that as a child it was hard for me to keep track of which were cousins and which were brothers and sisters. Nick married Lilburn and Jewel's daughter, Bernice. They had two children, Betty and Danny.
He drove a semi and would stay at my parents farm sometimes when he came through Indiana.
