Lawrence "Larry" Edward Speck, 67, of New Palestine, Indiana, passed away October 19, 2014. He was born in Indianapolis to the late Agnes Marie (Wyss) and Russell Charles Speck.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Donna Kaye (Jones) Speck; sons, Robert Lee (Shelia) Speck and Matthew Edward (Britney) Speck; six grandsons, Daniel, Chad, William, Robert, Benton, and Nolan; six great grandsons and one great granddaughter; brother to Russell "Skip"(Dian) Speck, Clayton, Indiana, Carole (Gordon) Grindstaff, Rita (Donald) Kluemper, Cecilia (David) Wilson, Barbara Hughey, Ruth Speck, Virginia (Ginny) Speck; and several nieces, nephews and a large loving family. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Mary "Jodie" (Victor) Claas.

Larry was a fire-fighter for the Indianapolis Fire Department from October 1969 till December 31, 2007. He had a passion for hunting and fishing as well as playing golf, and like to play the slots at the local casinos.

Larry was also a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 23 from 2:00-8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday October 24 at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church.
