Robert F. "Bob" Nielsen, 82, of Milford, died Thursday (October 13, 2005) at Watseka Rehab and Health Care Center. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford, and from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Milford, until the 10:30 a.m. funeral service. Rev. Jason Wagner will officiate.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford. Memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church Radio Ministries, or the Robert Chad Bogan Scholarship Fund.

Mr. Nielsen was born August 21, 1923, in Woodworth, the son of Martin and Gertrude Sobkoviak Nielsen. He farmed for 24 years in the Bryce area, and was owner/operator of Nielsen Real Estate in Milford. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and a Cubs fan.

Surviving are his wife, the former Patricia "Pat" Hagenson, whom he married March 25, 1945 in Milford; one daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Van Bogan of Winter Park, Florida; one sister, Naomi Crist of Milford; and two brothers, Charles Nielsen of Taylorville, and Jim Nielsen of Phoenix, Arizona.

One sister, Ruth Harmon; and one grandchild, Robert Chad Bogan, are deceased.
