ELKHART - Funeral services for Charlie Trigg, 83, of Elkhart, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Elkhart First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Curtis Grissett and the Rev. Alton Jones officiating. Masonic graveside services will be at Guiceland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bailey Funeral Home of Palestine.

Mr. Trigg died Tuesday, January 25, 1983, in Anderson County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 3, 1899, in Salmon, a son of the late William Alanson and Sarah McKinney Trigg. He had operated the Trigg Barber Shop in Elkhart for 38 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Builders Sunday School Class. Mr. Trigg was also a member of the Elkhart Masonic Lodge No. 400, AF&AM for 50 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Orlean Smith Trigg of Elkhart; a daughter, Mrs. Charlean Montgomery and husband John of Palestine, and several nieces and nephews.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey Funeral Home.
