Aunt

Genevieve was born on May 3, 1942 and passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. She was a resident of Cornelius, Oregon.

She is the beloved wife to the late Raymond (Jimmy) Lucero and Mother to Debbie, Sandy, Maryann, Raymond, Benny, and the late Jamie and Kenneth Lucero.

Geneve is my Dad's sister who I haven't seen for some time. She moved to Oregon a few years ago with her family. However, I remember many good times with her in my life. She always welcomed me in her home and gave love to all. It was very heartbreaking when I heard about her passing. I always wished I could of seen her again. I will always keep her in my heart and miss and love my Auntie.

A Better Place

She's in a better place right now
Than she's ever been before;
All pain is gone; she's now at rest;
Nothing troubles her anymore.

It's we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;.
We have to cry, to mourn our loss,
Before we get relief.

We know we'll reconnect with her
At the end of each life's road;
We'll see her cherished face again
When we release our earthly load.
