Meredith Michelle Mason Cooper, of Gaston, SC, after a courageous triple negative breast cancer battle since 2007, went home to be with Jesus January 14, 2011. She was 35.
Michelle was married to David B. Cooper on May 28, 2005, at Rocky Grove Baptist Church, Salley, SC.
She graduated from Lexington High School in 1993 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of South Carolina in 1998.
Michelle was employed by Jim Hudson Toyota as Client Relations Manager for 5 years where she earned Outstanding Performance and Excellence Award for 4 consecutive years.
She was a member at Shandon Baptist Church and for many years prior to that was a member at Lexington Presbyterian Church. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 Michelle faithfully prayed for and encouraged other people battling cancer as she herself underwent chemo, surgery and radiation. Most important to Michelle was her relationship with her Lord Jesus Christ, her family and friends and her kitties.
Michelle is survived by her husband, David B. Cooper, her father, Richard Mike Mason of West Columbia, her mother and S-Dad, Berta and Allen Puckhaber of Charleston/Folly Beach, her brother and sister-in-law, Richard Mark and Lisa Mason of Moncks Corner, her niece, Taylor Mason and her mother, Tina Mason of Hanahan, as well as many other Aunts, uncles, cousins and her two kitties Meesha and Gracie whom she loved dearly.
Interment: Rocky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Salley, SC.
