Businessman. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the third President and CEO head of the Anheuser Busch Brewery. He was the grandson of Adolphus Busch the founder of the company, the oldest of son August A. Busch Sr. and leader of the company, (1934-46). Under his leadership of the company, he turned the company's baker's yeast operations into the industry standard for breweries in America. He died at age 55 of a cerebral hemorrhage in St. Louis, Missouri.
