Remembering today my Father, Raymond Kruc. He was born 100 years ago (June 11, 1919) and passed away in 2003. He was the son of Ukrainian/Polish immigrants, grew up in the historic Chicago community of Pullman, served during WWII in India as a master airplane mechanic and spent his career building locomotives for Electro-Motive Corp. He was a loving husband to my Mother, Genevieve, dad to my brother Russ and me and Papa Ray to his grandchildren. He was kind, generous and had a wonderful sense of humor.
