"Mrs. Nora Smith Carver, 92, died Sunday at a Jacksonville hospital.
"Born in Rome, N.Y., Mrs. Carver had lived in Jacksonville for 68 years. She was the oldest member of Snyder Memorial Methodist Church. Mrs. Carver was a sister of Miss Grace Smith of Eustis, and she lived in Eustis in her girlhood days, and has many friends here. The father of Mrs. Carver and Miss Smith was one of the pioneer settlers of Eustis.
"Survivors include a son, Hewett S. Treadwell of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Mrs. J.S. Harrison of Jacksonville and Miss Grace Smith of Eustis; a niece and three nephews.
"Funeral services were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Snyder Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Gisler, pastor, officiating.
"Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery."
Nora was a member of the Ocklawaha Chapter, DAR.
