Eva Lidy was the beautiful and precious daughter of James (Jim) and Rebecca Jane Thayer Huston.
Eva had five brothers and four sisters ~ Charles August Sam, Bessie Emeline, Lillie Dell, Martha Ellen (Ella), Harvey, Fannie Mae, James Frankilin, Gilen Riley, Harry Phillip. Harvey and James Franklin died in infancy, Harvey in Kensington, Kansas and James Franklin in Harper, Kansas.
Eva Huston was the beloved wife of James Walter Herridge. They were united in marriage on April 23, 1913. They were blessed with eight children ~ six girls and two boys ~ Jennie Louise Herridge (Jennie never married devoted her life to helping her daddy raise her sibling's), Bessie Evalene (Wilmarth), Ruth Helen (Snyder), Dorothy Edith (died when she was only 2 1/2 years old), Maurice James, Juanita Clara (Hudson), Almeta May (Huntley Fortmeyer) and Cecil.
Eva passed away February 22, 1932 at the young age of 38 years, giving birth to her stillborn son Cecil, her beautiful little boy is buried with her.
