Andrew J. Cooper Funeral services for Andrew J. Cooper, 16, will be held at 8 p.m. today, at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive (corner of Bull Valley Road) McHenry. The Rev. Roger Olson will officiate. Born Oct. 22, 1985, in Aurora, the son of Victor Burson and Tammy J. Crawford, he died Wednesday, June 12, 2002. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, in Na Au Say Cemetery, Yorkville. Andrew was a student at McHenry High School East Campus and was on the wrestling team there. He played hockey for three years with the Fox Valley League; two of those years were on the "Hurons" team. He was a member of the Dye Hard paintball team and enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating. Andrew is survived by his mother, Tammy (stepfather Paul) White of McHenry; father, Victor Burson of Aurora; brother, Anthony of Kenosha, Wis.; sister, Alisha of McHenry; and grandparents, Vera Crawford of Aurora, James Crawford of DeKalb and Emma Burson of Aurora. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Lyndle Hoover, Albert and Edna Crawford and John Burson. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of services, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
