Randy was born on May 25, 1944, in Indianapolis, IN, to Bill (J.W.) and Aleen Jane (Smith) Berry. Randy came into this world overcoming obstacles and parted this world overcoming obstacles.

As a young child, Randy contracted polio, defeated polio and went on to become a first-class athlete, lettering in football, basketball and track.

Randy viewed life as a challenge. He pursued his lifetime work of designing and building exotic automobiles. His creations included cars featured in Disney movies and television i.e., "Hardcastle and McCormick," "Coyote". Today his cars are displayed throughout the world.

Randy's other passion was his most important - his children, Renee and Raymond.

He delighted in their accomplishments and never missed any of their activities.

Randy parted this world on Sunday, December 12, 2004. This was approximately five years after receiving a heart transplant. Many of us will have fond memories of Randy, but will be able to continue to see Randy throughout the lives of the people he leaves behind, especially Renee and Raymond. The last five years, although a battle, were filled with the happiness of watching Renee graduate from the University of Illinois and Raymond becoming a successful businessman.
