[Rickards fiction: John Beckerleg

Was Born in the North of England in 1844 and came to the United States some time around 1860 and moved to Nevada in the Summer of 1864.

He worked as a Miner and then a Mining Company Teamster taking Timbers and other Supplies to the Mines when Needed,

And it was on a Cold November morning in 1871 were his Horse's slipped on the Steep Road that leads down from Virginia City NV were his Wagon hauling Timbers got away from him and Crashed over a Ravine, Though he tried to jump clear he was crushed to death by the Timbers,

The Local Paper described the scene as one coverd with blood and Gore, A rather nasty way to die at Age 27 or any age, Being a Member of the Local Masion Lodgehe was buried in the Masonic Cemetery at Gold Hill NV. the next day.

The Attached Photo is a Tin Type taken of Mr. Beckerleg C-1870 and is Courtesy of the Gold Hill Historical Soc. Who were Kind enough to let me copy it for Find A Grave, Thank You, The Two other photos were taken in 1998 to show you how the Gold Hill NV. City Cemetery Looks like today.
