He built the greater part of the tower of The Church of Saint Mary The Virgin in Bures Saint Mary, Suffolk, England, prior to his death in 1410. He also built the vestry at the east end of the north aisle of the church. Additionally, he built a chapel where the organ now stands. There is still a piscina and stone bench from the chapel behind the organ.

The effigies on the tomb between the sanctuary and the vestry are of him and his wife, Joan. The indents on this tomb are still clear, and show that the male effigy was clad in camail and jupon armor, which was superseded by full plate armor not later than about 1410. He is also helmeted.

The tomb slab was used to form the Easter Sepulchre from 1509 until 1548.
