Marion Jenkins Daly, 87, died June 15, 2011, at her home. She was born in Chicago and lived in Stuart since 1974, moving from Concord, Mass. She received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Illinois. She was a homemaker. She was of the Lutheran faith. She was a longtime member of the Yacht & Country Club of Stuart. She was honorary regent, Halpatiokee Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution; member of Treasure Coast Regents Council; charter treasurer, U.S. Daughters of 1812, War Hawks Chapter 358; member of Daughters of the American Colonists, Nathaniel Shannon Chapter; member of Colonial Dames of America, Chapter XXVIII; and secretary, Dames of the Court of Honor, Florida Society. She was a member of the Colonial Dames of the XVII Century, Indian River Society; Martin County Genealogy Society and Blake Library, volunteer genealogist; and a Martin Memorial Medical Center Auxiliary volunteer for 35 years. Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen A. Wilson of Babson Park; sons, Robert Paul Daly II of Alexandria, Va., and James T. Daly of Palm City; brother, Robert Jenkins of Santa Barbara, Calif.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Daly; and one grandchild.
