Iggsy was just a baby when he was purchased from the Petco store in Fairfax, VA. He could fit in the palm of your hand. At the time of his death, he must've been at least 3 feet from head to tail.... he had grown to be such a big guy.

He was good friends with my parakeet (Birdy), and when I'd let Iggsy out of his habitat, he would climb up on top of Birdy's cage & just sit there. They weren't scared of each other & seemed to enjoy each other's company. One time Iggsy actually climbed INSIDE Birdy's cage, but made no attempt to attack him. And once again, they both seemed to enjoy the visit.

When I got my dog, at first Iggsy was extremely frightened by him, but they eventually became good friends also. Iggsy liked staring down at my dog from the top floor of his habitat, sorta giving him the "evil eye". And my dog would sit on the edge of the bed & stare back at him. They were quite curious about each other.

Cause of death: Had problems with his kidneys & had to be put to sleep.
