WEST HOMER, Nov. 8 - Mr. Henry Gillett died last Thursday night of hemorrhage of the lungs and the funeral was held yesterday at the house, the Rev. Mr. Miller officiating. A large concourse of people attended. Mr. Gillett was an old resident of this place having been born 53 years ago on the same farm where he died. His father was Haskill Gillett of pioneer fame. Mr. Gillett was a good citizen and neighbor, quiet in his manners and a man of few words. He leaves a wife and six children who will greatly miss him.
