DENNIS PORT- Nathaniel J. Ashley, 7, of 11 Edwards Ave., formerly of Worcester, died Friday, Aug. 16, in Boston Children's Hospital from injuries suffered when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle in Dennis Port.
He leaves his parents, Derek J. and Monique A. (Watson) Ashley of Dennis Port; a brother, Nicholas W. Ashley of Dennis Port; his paternal grandmother, Frances Carrigan of Worcester; his paternal grandfather, Donald T. Ashley of Worcester; his maternal grandfather, Carlton Watson of Worcester; and his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Bond of Tennessee. He was born in Worcester, where he attended Seven Hills Charter School.
Nathaniel was to enter the second grade at Ezra Baker School. He was a member of the Dennis-Yarmouth Youth Soccer League and was a former member of the Worcester Youth Soccer League.

Nate was much too young to leave this earth, but God must have had other plans for him. He was always smiling and always helping people, even at his young age.
