Mrs. Curtin was born March 8, 1921, in Sheffield, a daughter of the late Archie S. and Gertrude Barnes Brown. A lifelong Sheffield area resident, she attended Thiel College and Southern College and was employed with Erie Insurance Business from 1958 to 1972, with her husband. She was a member of Barnes United Methodist Church and Sheffield Progressive Women's Club. She was an avid reader and enjoyed family, friends and her coy fish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Archie F. Brown. Mrs. Curtin is survived by her husband, Richard E. "Dick" Curtin, whom she married on Aug. 19, 1944, in Sheffield; two daughters, Mrs. Myron (Nancy) Latimer, Barnes, and Mrs. William (Linda) Anderson, Warren; two grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, six stepgreat-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
