Steven W. McFarland, 64, of Midwest City, OK, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013.
He was born September 6, 1948, in OKC, OK.
He is survived by his mother, Pat; wife, Frances; and his children, Matthew, Hayley and Dillon. He is also survived by a sister, Linda and husband Charles McDade; and a brother, Edsel and wife Wanda McFarland.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wade McFarland.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, employed for many years at Baptist Hospital then Deaconess Hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. He graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1966 and earned a degree in Nuclear Med at George Washington University. He was a gifted musician, enjoying playing guitar and singing.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, at Soldier Creek Baptist Church, 9020 S.E. 15th St., Midwest City.
