Rodney Lynn Gordon, 54, born in OKC 2/10/1951, died on Aug. 31, 2005 after a long heroic battle with cancer. His wonderful sense of humor and incredible smile will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. He served in the Navy. He was an OSU graduate with a BS degree in Engineering, and an avid OSU Cowboy fan. He worked for 16 years at Boeing and 3 years at Tinker AFB as an Engineer. Rodney is survived by his wife Alecia of the home, 2 daughters: Jennifer Gordon of OKC; and Kathleen Ramirez & husband Lorenzo of KC, MO, stepdaughter Lori Vreeland & husband John of Guthrie, 2 stepsons Ryan French & wife Christa of Choctaw, and James French of the home, 1 grandson, 4 granddaughters, 2 brothers: Charles Gordon & wife Sandy of Yukon, and Mike Gordon & wife Noma of OKC, mother & stepfather, Mickey & Barney Harms of OKC, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Charley Brown Gordon, uncle Joseph Cannaday, and granddaughter Madelene Vreeland. The family would like to thank Dr. Hamilton & staff and Hospice Quality Care for their love and support. Funeral services will 2:00 PM, Friday 9/2/2005 at the Barnes & Johnson FH Chapel with burial in Arlington Cemetery.
