Gladys M. Breeds, 88, of 2137 Poplar Ridge Road died Thursday at home.

Mrs. Breeds, was born in Brohead, Wis. She moved to Groton in 1912. She married Henry Breeds in 1924 and lived in the Summer Hill area. She spent her winters in St. Cloud, Fla. She had been living with her daughter, Charlene Hamilton, for the last few years.

Surviving are two sons, Gerald of Moravia and Lawrence of Florida; four daughters, Betsy Hargett of Locke, Dora Jones of Little York, Charlene Hamilton of Aurora and June Abbey of Pitcher; two brothers, Lawrence Riese of Arizona and Stanley Riese of Florida; three sisters, Laurene Hilsinger of Cortland, Lucille Bana of DeRuyter and Wilhellmina Warner of Groton; 29 grandchildren, many of Syracuse; 65 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Briggs-Hall Memorial Home.

Burial will be in West Homer Cemetery.

Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 11 N. Main St
