Carol is survived by her sons, Emanuel Jacob and Zachary Carter Aichele; daughters, Jamie Slaughter Mercer, Danielle Embree, Morgan Claudette Andrews, Zanette Edie Aichele and Sharlene Jackie Myler.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, in the cemetery in Kingston, Wash. Arrangements by Bateman Carroll Funeral Home.

Gresham resident Carol Lee Myler Aichele, 63, died Sunday, Aug. 9, in Vancouver, Wash.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Wash.
Carol was born May 24, 1946, in Stockton, Calif., to William J. Myler and Frances Raison-Phillips. She lived in San Francisco and then in North Kitsap, Wash. She moved to Gresham five years ago. She was divorced.
Carol volunteered with the Gresham Parks Department. She loved listening to music by Rod Stewart and Elvis. Family was the most important part of her life. She was known as a good listener and free spirit.
Her son, Gary, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Emanuel Jacob Aichele of Washington and Zachary Carter Aichele of Washington; daughters, Jamie Slaughter Mercer of Canyon, Texas, Danielle Embree of Troutdale, Morgan Claudette Andrews of Bakersfield, Calif., Zanette Edie Aichele of Gresham and Sharlene Jackie Myler of California; sisters, Charlotte Winkler of Washington and Beverly Flemming of California; and 13 grandchildren.
Donations can be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, 1327 S.E. Tacoma St., Suite 272, Portland, 97202. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
