Tony was born April 6, 1920 in Böserscheidegg, Germany, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2012 in Lions Gate Hospital after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer.

Survived by his wife Frieda, son Rudy (Helene), grand children Eva-Maria, Linda-Christina and 4 great grandchildren Marcus, Christina, Every and Nolan.

Tony married his wife Frieda in 1948 and immigrated in 1951 to Canada. His love for music and travelling kept his spirit up till he fell ill due to Alzheimer.

His family thanks Dr. Dorothy Janzen, the staff at Lions Gate Hospital and especially a thank you to the caregivers and staff at We Care in North Vancouver.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 23rd at First Memorial Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Foundation of BC in his memory would be appreciated.
