TROUP - Services for Ron Lowrance, 63, Troup, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Troup Church of Christ with Nolan Kennedy, Dr. Jay Lockhart and Ka'Sime Davenport officiating.

Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup, under direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Mr. Lowrance died July 31, 2007, in a Tyler hospital.

He was born Feb. 22, 1944, in Henderson to the late Ralph and Florene Turner Lowrance. He graduated from John Tyler High School and Abilene Christian University. He lived in Troup for the last 10 years, was currently serving as minister for Alto Church of Christ and had previously served other churches throughout Texas and Oklahoma.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Janelle Ritchie Lowrance, Troup; daughters, Kimberly Lowrance Fuller, Tyler, and Amanda Lowrance, Alamosa, Colo.; son, Stephen Lowrance, Alamosa, Colo.; stepsons, Dr. Marcom Herren, Wichita Falls, Eric Ritchie Herren, Katy, and Ashley Hembree, Troup; brother, Tommy Lowrance, Tyler; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers are Dr. Marcom Herren, Eric Herren, Ashley Hembree, Steven Fuller, Craig Dickey, David Dickey, Jon Lowrance and Michael Lowrance.

Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
