Donald (Barney) Eugene Barngrover, 83, of Yakima died Thursday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Barngrover was born in Kansas and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a teacher and coach in Kansas and later taught industrial arts and math at Washington Middle School until 1976.
Survivors include his wife, Aileen of Yakima; a son, Rick Barngrover of Yakima; a daughter, Sherry Krebs of Wenatchee; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Committal service will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
