Formerly of 1714 Erie St.

Age 37. Passed away Nov. 12, 1944, in a vehicle accident in Leghorn, Italy. He was formerly buried in the U. S. Military Cemetery at Vada, Italy. He was born in Racine, Oct. 11, 1907, and had been employed at the Consumers Co. stone quarry at Ives before his enlistment. In August, 1942, he enlisted in the U. S. Army and served 23 months overseas in the 78th Fighter Control Squadron. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Klemick, Racine; three brothers, John of Chicago, George and Daniel, both of Racine. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m., at the Strouf Funeral Home, Rev. Robert Tipton officiating. Burial will be in the World War II Memorial Plot in Graceland Cemetery.
