Chuck was born June 17, 1946, the middle son of Bill and Harriet Albrecht in Wauconda, IL. He graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 1964, and the Denver Automotive Institute in 1966. He worked as a sales rep for a Truck Equipment firm for 16 years and as a Fertilizer rep for 30-plus years, retiring in January 2015.

He married Mary "Midge" Adams at Malmstrom AFB on June 24, 1967.

He enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, softball, bowling, his family, his church, and CMA. Chuck's greatest asset was his sense of humor and making others laugh. The greatest gift he received was his daughter and grandchildren.
