MY DAD

Donald was born and raised in the Minneapolis, Mn area. He is the only son of Victor and Anna Edquist. Donald had one sister, Victoria and married Ethel Schreiber. He had two sons, Stephen and Ronald and one daughter Jo Ann. Donald worked 20 years for General Hospital that later became Hennepin County Medical Center. He worked in the laundry department and was responsible for cleaning all the hospital supply clothes, bedding, and towels etc. After the hospital became part of the county my dad quit and worked for another hospital laundry supply company for about five more years then he retired.
When dad had time he would enjoy fishing or dancing and sometimes we would tent camp. My father was very kind and very good to all his family. Sometimes when my friends would come over we would play a little basketball and my dad would join right in. Everyone enjoyed him he was a kid at heart. My brother played lots of baseball and dad was always at his games. Dad always went the extra mile for us and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He had a big heart and is missed by all of us. Donald died from a major heart attack. This tribute is for you Dad, thanks Dad for everything and for the great memories,
Your son Steve
