FRANCIS 'FRANK'ORCUIT
DIXMONT - Francis Emerson Orcutt, 46, died unexpectedly at his home in Dixmont on Feb.9, 1949. The son of Clinton S. and Elsie M. (Norris) Orcutt Sr. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years, attaining the rank of sergeant. Francis was employed by Stratham Tire Co. as a
tire salesman for 17 years. An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine "Geri" (Perkins) Orcutt; one daughter, Erin Ruth Orcutt and a son, Adam Orcutt, both of Dixmont. He was Predeceased by an infant daughter, September Dawn Orcutt. Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Tammy Vilardi and her husband, Tony of Spring Valley, N.Y.; two stepsons, Gregory Johnston and his wife, Shanan and their son, Jordon of Carmel, Brian Johnston and his wife, Danielle, and their children, Cody, Bryanna and Tyler, all of Brewer; two sisters, Sylvia Kulesza and her husband, George of South Glens Falls, N.Y., and Rosaline Collins of Newport; three brothers, Ronald Orcutt and his wife, Gloria F. of Dixmont, Richard Orcutt and his wife, Gloria J. of Jackson, and Billy Orcutt and his wife, Judith of Orrington; several
nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers, Clair H. Norris and Clinton S. Orcutt Jr. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at The Hampden Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Charles Hurst of the Apostolic Lighthouse
Church of Bangor and Pastor Ronald Libby of the Charleston Pentecostol Church officiating. Interment will be in the springtime in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Geraldine Orcutt, P.O. Box 91, Dixmont 04932.
