Henry Allison, son of James and Nancy Allison was born in Scioto County, Ohio June 4, 1859. He passed away at the home of his brother, Jack Allison of Stafford at 11:45 a.m. October 14, 1935, at the age of 76 years, 4 months and ten days.

He came from Missouri to Kansas in 1884, and lived in Reno County most of his life. He joined the Baptist church in Stafford in 1886. He is survived by his brother Jack Allison of Stafford, a sister Mrs. Lucinda Hull of Berkeley, Calif., several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Peacock & Soice chapel Tuesday afternoon, October 15, at 2:30 with A. B. Akers in charge.

Interment was in the Stafford Cemetery.
