WOODROW WILSON BROWN, SR.

Of 1303 16th St., died at 3:20 a.m. today in the Altoona Veterans Administration Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Woodbury on Oct. 15, 1913, a son of Lorenzo I. and Edith (Fink) Brown.

Surviving are his wife Dorothy, and six children, Mrs. Bonnie Roub, David and Mrs. Judith Dejaiffe of the city, Mrs. Patricia Erb, Michael and Thomas of Lewisburg; Two step-daughters, Mrs. Jean Conklin of Newark, Ohio, and Mrs. Peggy Boore of Altoona; 20 grandchildren, five brothers and sisters, James R., Mrs. Vera Beck and Benjamin E. of the city, J. E. of Staten Island, NY, and Mrs. Georgie Kemp of Belmont, Ill; a half-sister and two half-brothers, Irvin Brown of Everett, Mrs. Ethel Herring of Altoona, and Charles Ulery of Duncansville.

He retired on Feb. 29, 1964, from the Army, after 24 years of service.

Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10.
