Mr. Brice D. Brubaker, 53, of 956 27th St.died at 3:27 a.m. Friday, May 5, 1989, at Mercy Hospital, following a brief illness.

He was born Aug. 29,1935, in Cross Keys, the son of Ord G. and Lista C. (Hoover) Brubaker, and Sept. 5, 1956, in Altoona, married Shirley A. Brown.

Surviving are his wife, five children: Sgt. Duane L., serving with the Air Force in Germany; Jeffrey B. and Diane L. Osborn of Altoona, Joy M. Kidd of Hollidaysburg and A.N. Larry S., serving with the Navy in Florida; and eight grandchildren.

Also surviving are his parents of Bellwood, four brothers and a sister: Clifford E. of Bradenton, Fla.; Elvin W. of Warren, Ohio; Elwood G. of Mineral Point, Regis E. of Moore, Okla.; and Nova R. Brubaker of Altoona RD 2.

Mr. Brubaker was a member of the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Brubaker was a 1953 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Gilden Barton Funeral Home.

BRUBAKER — Services for Brice D. Brubaker will be held at l1 a.m. Monday in Gilden Barton Funeral Home, by the Rev. Roy C. Myers. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
